What is Financial Hardship?

Financial hardship is when you are unable to meet your financial commitments. This could be caused by unforeseen or unexpected circumstances such as illness or injury, natural disaster, family and domestic violence, unemployment or changes in income.

What support is available?

Because every situation is different, there is no single solution that suits everyone. We will talk with you about what has changed in your circumstances and explain the options which may help make your repayments more manageable.

Depending on your circumstances, this may include:

• Extending your loan term
• Reducing your repayments for a period of time
• Stopping your repayments for a period of time
• Suspending certain fees and charges
• Spreading missed payments over the remaining loan term

How can I apply?

If you are having financial difficulties, then you should contact us as soon as possible. The sooner we know, the sooner we can work with you to try and find a solution. You can contact our hardship team by:
